OUR DEVELOPMENT

Pevex Enterprises Ltd was established in 1993 as importers and ditstributors of traditional firebaskets, grates and firebacks to the fireplace industry. As we developed, fireplaces were added to the portfolio and in 2004 the first stoves were introduced to the British market.

2005 saw a join partnership with Heta UK to distribute the quality Danish Heta stoves into the UK marketplace.

In June 2006 the Bohemia range was launched to our dealer network to satisfy the demands of a discerning British public and in June 2008 we launched the French made Invicta quality cast iron range.

​

In 2010 the Bohemia range underwent further improvements with tweaks to the stove construction, further additional models added to the range incorporating a clean burn firebox to create the new Bohemia X range. This range was subsequently submitted to Defra and achieved full certification for use in smoke control areas.

2011 saw the development of the UK designed and built Serenity range of inset stoves launched that have been purposely designed and built for our UK fireplace requirements. These feature stylish and modern designs as well as being easy to install.

In 2012 the Serenity range evolved to include the free standing stove range which includes legs, cabinets and pedestal versions.

In early 2023 the Directors after 30 years of trading decided to transfer the ownership of the Company to the employees through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), preserving and securing the long term future of the business.

​

2024 began the cooperation with the Firez electric fire distribution and from July we took on the distribution of Lotus Stoves, Denmark distributing it throughout the UK, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Now we are a major distributor of traditional and contemporary stoves in the UK and are evolving and continuing to seek out further new products as well as developing existing ranges for the benefit of all our customers.
